1. Create a new post on your blog called "Unit Four", and then explain which of the above standards you have had the most difficulty mastering. Make specific references to the work you have done in this class in your response.
ELAALRC2 The student participates in discussions related to curricular learning in all subject areas. I think this was the most difficult one for me because i have trouble participating i dont really participate alot or discuss a subjuct.
2. Choose one of the Modernism themes named above that you are most interested in studying: Disillusionment, the Harlem Renaissnace, The Jazz Age, or Phychoanalysis. Write a paragraph that describes why you made this choice and how you expect to see the topic you chose represented in the literature you are about to read.
I chose the harlem renaissnace because i think it will be a good topic and story to read. I chose it also because i expect it to have a good representation in literature & have alot of literary tems in the story we are going to read and i hope its going to able to explain some of the topics in literature. =)
3. Read the story that coresponds to the theme you chose. Chose a topic according to your interests, not the length of the story. Choosing a story because of its length is not the wisest way to approach this assignment.
4. Read the following poems. When you study poetry, it is a good habit to read each selection MORE THAN ONCE.
I think it is a good habit to read the story more than once because when you read it more then once you get to understand even more & more of what you are ready in the poems and it helps you.
Write a paragraph response to each poem in which you explain your opinions about what is being written as well as identify one of the elements of Modernism in each. These paragraphs must contain direct evidence from the poetry to support whatever claims you make. Please be thorough enough in this section so not to have to go back and make adjustmetns after I read your work.
FIRST POEM PEOPLE ALWAYS LOOKED AT RICHARD COREY BECAUSE I GUESS THEY THOGHT HE ALWAYS LOOKED REALLY ELEGANT AND HAD MONEY.
SECOND POEM
5. Review your response to number 1 in this unit. Then explain how you have addressed the Georgia Performance Standard you said was a challenge for you. You should support this claim with evidence from your own work.

Soccer
Soccer is one of the most popular sports in Europe and the Americas. It has a vivid and interesting history in the world of sports. Early evidence of soccer being played as a sport finds occurrence in China during the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC. In China, it was during the Han dynasty that people dribbled leather balls by kicking it into a small net. It is said that early growth of the modern soccer started in England. Some amusing facts even mention that the first ball used was the head of some Danish brigand. It is said that during medieval times, the old form of soccer used to allow many ill practices like kicking, punching, biting and gouging.
The history of modern-day soccer was established in 1863. In October 1863, eleven representatives from London clubs and schools. The outcome of this meeting was the formation of the Football Association. In December 1863, the Rugby Football and Association football finally split as the supporters of the Rugby School rules walked out. Firmly establishing the foundation of soccer in 1869, the Football Association strictly banned any kind of handling of the ball. Soccer’s popularity spread rapidly during the 1800s as British sailors, traders and soldiers introduced the sport to different parts of the globe.
Soccer positions can be confusing, especially if you have just started to play soccer. It took me a while to figure out what a sweeper, fullback or central midfielder is, but of course I didn’t give up and I figured it out now here are some of details. If you want to play as sweeper in soccer you should have a good understanding of the game and also strong leadership abilities. Your main task is to control the defense of your team and to always stay behind your fullbacks. The center fullbacks (or stopper’s) main task is to mark the opposing team forwards or central midfielders. Distributing the ball to the midfielders and playing offensively at intervals is also an important skill if you want to perform well as stopper. Playing as the central midfielder requires good passing and ball handling skills. You must also distribute the ball safely among the offenders while doing everything to stop or slow down your opponent’s offensive attacks before they reach your last defensive line. Well there are so many more positions that you can play but I just said some of them and its not hard play.
